Collection: STREAMERS
Streamer flies, which imitate baitfish and other swimming prey, have evolved significantly since their early development in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Early streamer designs, like the Bumblepuppy by Theodore Gordon in 1880 and the Black Ghost designed by Herbert Welch in 1927, were foundational. The Mickey Finn and Woolly Bugger, developed later, became iconic streamer patterns. These early designs, often featuring long, feather-winged streamers or bucktail flies, laid the groundwork for the diverse streamer patterns today.
